As Epic Owner on the KBC Kate Train, I was responsible for adding capabilities to the in-app chat-robot, KATE. For most part, this centred around traditional
project management tasks where I was end to end responsible for the successful implementation and launch of the project. Compared to other roles, a
significant part of this mission dealt with stakeholder engagement, confirming their ability to execute and ensuring the correct implementation of the project
at hand. It became especially important during development phase when multiple departments had to work together.
This function also entailed a thorough implementation of the Agile ‘design thinking’ process in which project were conceptualised based upon the needs and
issues that clients had to deal with.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organising Design Thinking’ sessions to conceptualise the client’s need into a potential concrete solution
Presenting the proposed and final solution to a board of directors and defend and explain where
necessary
Engage operational (data, testing, release, backend) as well as supportive stakeholders (other
departments related to the project I was building, such as ‘saving accounts’, ‘customer handling’,
‘payments’)
Find solutions to structural problems and escalate if necessary
Work closely together with developer if project finds itself blocked and engage stakeholders until the
issue has been found and dealt with
Oversee syncing and status meetings to make sure the project continues according to schedule
Perform minor administrative tasks to support Product Owner
Follow up on Project’s bureaucracy in Jira, Confluence, Teams and Sharepoint
Give monthly status updates on all projects

As knowledge and issue manager at the justice department, I supported a team of 25 members with process issues and questions. I was responsible for
finding solutions to their obstacles, escalate these with the correct people and make changes in the process description if needed. I was also responsible for
creating a centralised knowledge platform in confluence where team members could share information, consult reports & SOP’s, find information, and
